Armature
Found this video for making armatures. Like the idea of using the power drill for making an armature.

More research for stop motion. Don't think I'll be able to try something like ths from aardmen but you've got to admire.
replacement animation
I started to look a how i could use replacement animation for my armataure/ character.
Stop motion, set design
I started to look at how i could go about designning both characters and set for stop motion. This could be helpful to beginning designs for the set and character.

Beginning stop motion
These are the first test for stop motion animation work. Me, myself, I, Zez Vaz, Marcin Dudkowski, Robin Hudson and Mohammed Ali Kamal created a just playing around to see what we could create.
One thing that I/ we learnt from this is to work out the story before filming. In 2D is wasn't so hard to change the movement if you felt the that it would look better (not that you do that in a final story production). You can't change the movement so easily with stop motion as you will have to redo the motion.
