My first premise, not great but hopefully I'll get better with time. Here to wishful thinking. It started off a little slow not knowing where or how to start. Then I start to read How to write for animation by Jeffrey Scott and that really helped.
My first day starting back at collage
My first day starting back at collage
The start
The day before I started college still nursing my sprained ankle from a football injury. I started to wonder what it would be like and how I had changed from when I was younger. How I would approach this second chance, a new start at an opportunity to make something of my life.
Scene 1
Day one (the day before starting at college), laying down with my foot up on the bed. Keeping my foot rested as my sprain ankle is still injured. Looking at the material content sheet reviewing all the materials and equipment that I would need for the coming year ahead. I was both excited look to the future with optimism, a second chance at life. Yet still worried and scared, not least of all thinking that I may be the oldest one on the course. That worried me the most not knowing what to expect.
Scene 2
It’s time to get up and make some dinner I’m so hungry I could eat a horse. Let’s see how my foot is when I put some weight on it. That’s not too bad still a little stiff. Walk down the stairs and into the kitchen, Richard making dinner too. We greet each other and begin to talk about the day’s events. The conversation move onto me starting college tomorrow.
Scene 3
Back in my room making sure everything ready for tomorrow. Early night tonight want to make sure I’m all fresh for tomorrow.
Scene 4
Wake up have breakfast, no else is up yet. “That no surprise”. Nice to see they lift the place in a mess again. Why do I leave like this, why was it again I agreed to move in? Make sure I’ve got everything, good lets go. Worry start to set in again walking to the bus stop. Off the bus, start the walk to collage. This is the place, Ruskin hall. A little bit of anxiety now, oh let’s get this over with.
Into Ruskin hall that looks like the desk, ask where room 145 is. Head up the turn left and the room should be in front of you.
Scene 5
Open the door walk into 145 wow it’s full of old people. Now I don’t feel so. Penny introduces herself. We all get to know one another . Someone introduce their opposite to the class, glade that’s over. Were introduce to other people given a tour around Ruskin Hall and Maple Road. Have lunch get to know some more people. Finish early but back tomorrow and can’t wait to get started.
The end
